Somebody help pls,

What is the difference betwen I 1864 and I 864EZ?

The I-864EZ is a shorter version of the I-864. You have to meet three criteria though to be eligible to complete it.

Thanks Saylin.

can u share the criterias. Is it good enough to fill I 1864 form.

Also we are planning to keep following

1. Copy of Job Letter

2. Copy of Tax Transcrit for latest year.

3. Copy of Bank Statement

Copy of all documents are enough rite?

Pay stubs are required? becoz every month we get two pay stubs. For one year, it will be a lot of papers

NVC's website has the info. Here's the link: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3197.html

The only things mandatory with the AOS package is tax information (either last year, or last 3 years). Employment letter, pay stubs, and bank statements are all optional. If you send pay stubs, you technically only need to send one as most pay stubs have a YTD (year to date) column which says how much you've earned that year at that job.

And copies of documents are fine for AOS. It's the IV package that requires originals/certified copies.

happy pre-thanksgiving to everyone in VJ!

I am still waiting to hear from NVC about any news on interview dates, My case closed nov 18, so they told me to call the 2nd week of the month in December but I will call again soon though, I have started gathering evidence of my relationship with my husband for example I have: wedding pics, pics of last year when I went to visit him, plane tickets, receipts of stuff we bought for our house in Mexico, money transfers from the bank when i sent him money, a copy of my bank where i listed him as beneficiary, and i also have dvd copies of our wedding ceremony, mmm i also kept a copy of our dog's vaccination record that we had though unfortunately she passed away, I guess that will show us being legitimate in our relationship.

Any thing else you guys think i can take?

By the way, he's never been here to the united states, doesn't have any illegal issues in mexico, neither of us has been married before nor have kids.I hope all this works in our favor and he gets his visa approved, we want to start our life together already!

Don't bother bringing the DVD of the ceremony as you're not allowed to bring electronics inside. They will not view it.

As for some ideas of proof, did either of you send greeting cards to each other? (birthday, holiday, etc) Even some from his family. I brought a Christmas card that my husband's grandmother had sent me. Also, do you have him on any kind of insurance or housing? My husband added me to his car insurance, so I brought a copy of that. Also brought the apartment lease that was also in my name. Of course, I never ended up showing any evidence, but I did bring some. Also, any correspondence between you and him? Either emails, IMs, Skype, text messages, etc.

I think in most countries, it's a lot simpler if it's the first marriage and no kids. And if he's never had any illegal issues that's always a bonus (both for immigration and otherwise!) He'll definitely get approved :)
