NVC Filers - November 2011

Hey Novembers, one of my ultimate pet peeves is when people repeat themselves 50 times over and over again - oddly enough, my job is to repeat a passage of film 100000000 million times until I find the right music that goes under it, so I don't know why it irks me so much- and because of this, I cannot call the operators anymore. I am counting on you to let me know your interview date as soon as you hear something from the NVC, so I can jump on the phone and see if I have mine too.

Let's hang on, if what they said is true, we only have 1 more week to wait. ONE!!!!!!

Noted! I called NVC today and they just told us to call them 2nd week of November to confirm our interview dates. But hey, still gonna call them every single day until they email us. :bonk: Hehe! For the meantime, I'm tyrin to printscreen all of our chat conversations, emails and stuff. :P To be safe, how many pages do you think I should bring during interview? :help:

Bring as much evidence as possible (to be on the safe side). Better be over-prepared than under.

I'm gonna give my wife around 100 (or more, don't remember) pages of our Skype talks, a pile of pictures etc.

As I've mentioned in September's thread, now it definitely looks like the NVC mainly assigns interviews on the 2nd week of the month.

I did some search on Canadian VJ members' timelines and it shows, in all, the second week. Lucky those who happened to have been scheduled randomly during the whole month.

I want to be wrong, but it sounds we won't hear anything from the NVC till next week.

So, Allegra, now you owe me thousands $$$$$ :P . And, please, no personal checks or debit cards  . Only cash accepted .

You'll get your money, when I get my interview date on the second week.

And with my luck, I probably won't. AHHH knock on wood :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Mmkay, our (my hubby and me) facebook conversations reached about 268 pages! Yahoo messenger chats, skype videocall logs and magic jack phone call logs are not yet included. :bonk: Question is, do I still have to include them? or can that be enough? A lil help here. :help: I need straightforward answers/advises. I can't decide for myself!

Too much paperwork (I feel sorry for the trees though). :(

I think I can be optimistic and REALISTIC to join also the November thread!! :star:

Our file is still somewhere in USCIS having a major slow moving to NVC, but then again I saw that there's been others in the same situation! That after receiving NOA2 their file just sits in USCIS, until after about a month it's finally forwarded to NVC and in few days having arrived to NVC, NVC kindly assigns a case number.

So seems like either way, file being forwarded fast from USCIS to NVC and then wait 3-4 weeks for case number, OR, file stuck in USCIS and finally after a month or so gets moved to NVC and then NVC gives case number within couple of days, all in all, it's about a month...Like Allegra actually told me about a month ago

So hoping we'll get a NVC case number this or next week!

AND I hope all you guys waiting for the interview (lucky you, already on that stage!!!!)will get it soon!!!

I would suggest printing a few conversations from each source for each month. Not every single conversation you've ever had. Just get some proof that month after month, you're both still talking and developing/maintaining a relationship.

I got my NVC number on Oct. 28. Waiting on an Invoice Id Number now

Call back immediately and ask for the IIN! No need to wait for it.

Lately, it's been taking a week or two to review packages, so you should hear next week.

Did just that now and got it. Thanks

Grats :) You can now log into the payment portal and see if the AOS is available to be paid.

Have you sent the DS-3032 yet? If not, follow the template linked in my first post.

I was going over my papers today since I don't have anything better to do as we wait for our interview date :)

To my horror I discovered I made two small mistakes on my DS 230. I somehow managed to get the date on when I graduated from college wrong (wrote Sept instead of Dec) and the date I entered the U.S. on my F-1 visa. I wrote January cause that's when school started but I entered the U.S. on the 30th of Dec. I assume this can be fixed by me bringing a new and corrected DS 230 to the interview and give it to them there? I just want to confirm that this is what I should do...

Thanks for any advice!

PS: Still waiting for interview date and driving myself crazy in the process
