Grats! kicking.gifkicking.gif

Hopefully you hear soon of the interview date being scheduled. Just continue calling NVC (and start with DOS now) and asking if an interview date has been scheduled for your case. And remember: operators are LYING when they say they only scheduled during the second week of each month. They schedule ALL month long.

You should be calling BOTH. They both have access to your file. You might find out from one source sooner than the other of your interview date.

Hey, I'm happy I found this thread! :) Just spoke with an NVC operator and was told NVC has reviewed my DS-230 form and civil documents, and nothing seems to be missing. Does this mean they're done reviewing my IV package? The same operator said there's nothing in their record about my husband's AOS package, though. Should I be worried? We sent both AOS and IV packages at the same time but in two different envelopes. So, two separate packages but same date and time of shipment and arrival.

We're hoping for our case to be completed within the week! We would like to have an early December interview, though that may be unlikely.

Each consulate/embassy sends a schedule to NVC of their available slots every month. NVC then proceeds to fill in all those slots with the cases in queue. So NVC schedules it, but you can find out your interview date from either NVC or DOS.

It seems like they're done reviewing your IV package! Call NVC three times and ask the same question: is my IV package FINISHED being reviewed. Make sure you empathize the 'finished'. And I say three times (at the least) because you might get varying answers.

As for your AOS, it'll always vary how long it takes for each package to get to a reviewing officer's desk. So don't worry about that. Just keep calling every day and asking for any updates on your case.

good morning everyone - I would like to ask about the DS230 package. Do I need to send another marriage certificate, birth certificate, 2x2 photos to NVC when I already send it in my I-130 package before? The marriage certificate, birth certificate that I included in my I-130 package before are all originals. Thanks is advance for the reply.

For the I-130, you were only supposed to send COPIES. With the IV package, you have to send the originals or certified copies of the beneficiary's birth certificate and the marriage certificate. And yes, you'll also need to include two more 2" x 2" photos of the beneficiary. It might seem repetitive, but that's the way it is.
