I think, the link, I've provided, is not working.

Here's another one that worked for me (still had to enter EXP 02 NOV 2011A and the data range), but I'm surprised that there was only one package to Montreal sent from the NVC on November 3rd and delivered in Montreal yesterday.

All the cases are put into ONE package to each consulate. So it might only say one package, but there could be HUNDREDS of cases inside.

No, you're doing OK, I've tried for you :D (Saylin is still in school creating new web-site for the NVC as she promised so  ) starting from 31 OCT up to now - nothing yet.

laughing.gif Yup, in school for programming/web design. Once I'm done, and a US citizen, maybe I'll apply to NVC to be their web designer and re-haul their system as it could be SO much better!

Well, the total weight was shown as 1 pound, so I wonder what does the NVC send to the consulates? Just couple pages ? If there's a bunch of cases? My original package to the USCIS was around 3 pounds . I have no clue, though, what was send from the USCIS to the NVC, once the petition had been approved.

Awesome (F)! Hopefully that new web-site won't support IE at all :P!

Damn it! Completely forgot to thank you, Saylin, for the grats on interview date (F)!

Haha, you were too busy celebrating :P

Remember, for Canada, a lot of the cases are electronic, so no weight to them :P But it is interesting how it's only 1 pound to the consulate. Who knows...

And yes, when/if I re-design their website, I'm gonna make it work for ALL browsers, not just IE >_<

. No time to celebrate, whole this immigration process keeps you tighten and under permanent stress :D. Even didn't have a beer yet. Only my wife officially told me through the Skype (text message): "Thank you". And that's it   ? Is that all that I've deserved ?

Saylin, once the packet gets to consulate (no matter Montreal or Paris), will we get some sort of notification either from the NVC or from the consulate now ?

One more thing. Can I register my wife through DHL service in Canada now or it's better to wait for the response about package arrival into Montreal? Just concerned about the time-frame, so it won't be too late to register .

Don't worry, once your wife gets to the US, hopefully she'll show you her appreciation ;)

And nope, you will NOT get any more notifications, not from NVC, DOS, or the consulate. The best you can do is track it through DHL. If you want confirmation, you can call DOS as that's the only person you can talk to now. NVC no longer has your case and Montreal doesn't have an operator to talk to.

I would suggest waiting until the case has arrived at Montreal and then a few extra days. Just in case. I have seen people do it before they even get an interview date scheduled and have had no problems. But if I were you, I'd wait. That's what I did. Looking at my blog, I got my interview date scheduled on March 25, my interview was for May 3rd, and I chose my DHL location on April 20th. Almost a month after my date was scheduled. I wanted to be sure that Montreal had received my case and inputted. This probably isn't needed, but I didn't want any mishaps, like I registered too soon or something. And honestly, you can probably register the day before your interview. When you sign up doesn't relate to when you'll get your passport back. It's not a first come, first serve basis.

Thank you, Jon  ! I hope, our interviews will go smoothly!

Actually this is Princess nickky! LOL  I'll tell Jon though! Hehe! :P I hope so too, that everything will turn out fine and that we'll all hear "WELCOME to the USA. YOUR VISA's APPROVED" at the end of the interview (oh, btw, I'm also the beneficiary). :luv: [

Anyway, I was just wonderin, why do most of you guys & gals track our package (completed case) shipment from NVC to our respective US embassies/consulates? Do we have to do that? :P

But yeah, since everybody's doin it, I also did it (I gotta admit, I get envy easily). Haha! Only one package was shipped between November 1 to November 6 (dated November 3) from NVC to Manila, Philippines.

Was tracking because Hadrien was throwing a hissy fit about why his interview date is so late so I told him to call the Embassy himself (when the package arrived) to try and reschedule. I'm through with calling visa people for a lifetime..heheh.

Good point, basically it's just killing the time :clock: and making oneself happy :girlwerewolf2xn: knowing that your case has been delivered to the designated consulate.

Allegra, for instance, was concerned about cut flights to France  , so she started wondering about the package to have been delivered to Paris, instead of Berlin or Madrid . Just kidding :P , trying to wake myself up, since I worked last night till 11 and had to come back in the morning at 8.

Well, yeah, Nickky, actually you're not that far off. I've shipped a package off to Martinique once and it went to France then to Martinique which doesn't make any sense at all. But I guess DHL and Fed-ex and all of those are pretty reliable.

Anyway Hadrien called the embassy today and spoke to the receptionist who forwarded the call to the visa immigrant person's answering machine. He left a message in English saying it would be really "cool" to get our interview pushed earlier... lololol

Oy vey. He could of just made up some better excuse.

We'll see what they say.........To be Continued.

how much time will take to get the interview date after the cc?

This varies by country. Each consulate/embassy has so many spots per month. Some people find out within days after the CC, others have to wait a few weeks. And then there's the poor souls going through Ghana and Cairo that have to wait MONTHS.
