ok so i sent my i130 application in june, now i am with NVC and i have submitted the i864 packet.. as i was filling out the i864 packet i realized that on my g325 form that i sent along with the i130 i put that i did NOT work in 2010 when in fact i did work for only like 3 months. i must have forgot that as i was filling out the g325 since i only worked for 3 months but will this cause an RFE? if so how could this be corrected? and is it an easy fix? i dont want my case to be delayed too much. thanks so much!!

Providing the correct information is important. However you should be fine, as your I-864 packet is the latest and is providing the right information. You may not get a RFE for the missed information of the 2010 work. If I were you, I will explain this in the covering letter of I-864 and that should settle the matter.

yea i already sent the i864 packet off so its too late to put it in there with the cover sheet.. i am doing everything electronically so should i email them a scanned paper signed by me stating that i made a mistake on my G325 or should i wait for an RFE? i didnt purposely leave it off but i must have forgotten.. i did send the correct tax info for last year though and included the correct info on the i864 :(..

You may not get a RFE - just wait and don't send anything now.

Sending things that are not officially asked for can delay things a bit--right Navy ?? Navy and I each had a small delay since we sent things we thought to be helpful, but in both cases there was a delay, so I'll say it again...DON'T SEND THINGS THAT ARE NOT OFFICIALLY ASKED FOR !!

Magical is absolutely right - My closed case was reopened and I got delayed by 20 days because I sent a copy of my I-864 with an inquiry letter (I had to send the I-864 again). I thought that a copy will help my inquiry but it did the opposite. We want you guys to avoid such mistakes.

I should have mentioned my error--I thought sending a copy of my UNFILED 2010 tax return would help establish my income level, and it confused everything and held me up about two weeks. Everything else in my package was perfect.

thanks for your reply and experiences.. i kind of thought that sending something might cause a delay because the person reviewing the documents might not have even noticed that. im just going to wait to see if i get and RFE because i dont want any delays!! thanks again!!
