Well I just got an alert that the fingerprint notice was sent out. So I guess I won't get to skip fingeprinting, even though I had them done back in March, whereas some people are not called in to be fingerprinted when theirs are one or two months older than mine. Once again, the ways of the USCIS are mysterious.

11/21/11.....Check cashed

11/23/11......NOA recived in the mail(priority date nov 14)(notice date nov 21)..(you will be notified of the date and place of your interview when you have been scheduled by the local USCIS office.you should expect to be notified withing 90 days of this notice)

12/13/11......got text and email about biometric letter being send out

12/17/11.......got biometric letter in the mail(appointment date dec 28th)

12/19/11.....did early walk in FP

12/22/11.......got email and text about being placed in line for interview scheduling

01/30/12.......got email from my IO were i was asked to pick my own interview date and send email back with the date i picked

02/06/12......got INETRVIEW email with appointment letter(have to print that out and bring with me on the interview day)

02/28/12.......INTERVIEW with oath on the same day(as long i pass the test afcorse.)

That was fast! I filed before you I still didn't get the letter with the appointment.

02-27-2012 Mailed I-130, I-485 and I-765 to Chicago by Priority Mail

02-29-2012 Post Office website shows as delivered

03-01-2012 USCIS received I-130, I-485 and I-765

03-05-2012 Received 3 text and 3 email receipt notifications

03-07-2012 $1,490 poorer - both checks cashed

03-12-2012 Received NOAs for all 3 applications

03-16-2012 Received Biometrics Notice for Apr. 2

03-19-2012 Successful Walkin Biometrics

04-09-2012 Received text/email about scheduled interview for May. 11

04-12-2012 Received a hard copy of an interview letter

05-04-2012 Received a notification "Card Production Ordered" for EAD.

01/30/12.......got email from my IO were i was asked to pick my own interview date and send email back with the date i picked

02/06/12......got INETRVIEW email with appointment letter(have to print that out and bring with me on the interview day)

02/28/12.......INTERVIEW with oath on the same day(as long i pass the test afcorse.)

Got my Biometrics / Fingerprinting done at the Los Angeles Field Office today (1015 Wilshire Blvd). Appointment was at 1pm. There was no parking lot nearby but there were digital parking meters and quite a few spots. It's not the crazy parking situation like in the middle of downtown, and in fact the spot I had had 15 minutes left on it still, but I arrived at 12:30 so I rounded out the meter to an hour.

Left my cellphone n the car as advised. Got in line and there were only two people ahead of me in line, and they got called immediately, and then me. I showed my appointment and green card, was given a number and told to fill out a form, and they gave me the study guide. There were maybe 10 people in the waiting area at most.

About 5 minutes after that got called up to a second waiting area just in front of the first, and then another 5 minutes got called up again, this time for real. Process was quick and painless, got my I797 stamped, asked to fill out a customer survey (I gave them all 5's), and was out of the door by 12:55, FIVE minutes before my actual appointment time! I didn't get to ask about early biometrics, I was thinking of doing it but then my schedule got super busy so today was actually the perfect time to do it anyway. They certainly didn't look very busy and they were VERY NICE, and since parking wasn't expensive if you want to try it it's not too big of a risk (I've read on VJ before that they do accomodate you).

Overall very positive experience, hope I get the yellow letter soon!

Got my biometrics appointment today! It's for Dec. 19, but I'll try to do it earlier. Did anyone in here try to do walk-in biometrics in Fresno? Just out of the curiosity: What does the code number mean on the appointment notice in one of the boxes?

03-19-2012 Successful Walkin Biometrics

04-09-2012 Received text/email about scheduled interview for May. 11

04-12-2012 Received a hard copy of an interview letter

05-04-2012 Received a notification "Card Production Ordered" for EAD.

05-09-2012 Received another notification "Card Production Ordered" for EAD.

05-10-2012 Received notification that EAD was mailed.

05-11-2012 AOS Interview at 12:30 no final decision

05-11-2012 Notification "Card production ordered" at 3:30 pm. APPROVED!!!!!!!

05-14-2012 Received EAD card in mail and I-130 approval notification

05-15-2012 Received hard copies of I-130 approval, welcome to USA letter and a notification that green card was sent

05-21-2012 Green Card Received!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
