Received Yellow Letter today.

Asking to bring IRS Transcript and proof of residence at interview which I have already submitted then why its asking to bring again ?

Received Yellow Letter today.

Asking to bring IRS Transcript and proof of residence at interview which I have already submitted then why its asking to bring again ?

I think is a random process.

During my ROC cycle i received a RFE letter and since I did not have anything new/different I sent them back exactly same stuff I submitted with original application.

Was good enough.

AOS from B-2

08/05/08 I-485 filed

02/03/09 CGC received

12/09/10 I-751 filed

04/07/11 GC received

11/1/11 N-400 filed

02/24/12 USC

Updating interview date. It's interesting that during my AOS, the closest FP office was 2hrs away in an adjacent state - New Orleans, LA. My field office was 4-5 hrs away in Atlanta, GA. Now, FP and interview are in the same city. I didn't do any FP for N400 but did for ROC. The office is less than 10 mins walk from my office! But since it's winter and cold, I will drive, it will be like 3mins or so due to one-ways. I plan to wake up and go to work like any other day! My interview is in the afternoon on a Friday, so I will just go home after the interview. Now, if only I can motivate myself to memorize the answers to the qs. I have already downloaded an app for that.

Yep, signed up on the website and the mailed form. Maybe I did something wrong, though. Wouldn't put it past myself to not have hit the "submit" button or something. No smartphone for me, maybe someday ...

Did you sign up on the USCIS website, besides that form we mail with N400? I have got all notifications so far.

If you have a smartphone, there's an app for that!

Received Yellow Letter today.

Asking to bring IRS Transcript and proof of residence at interview which I have already submitted then why its asking to bring again ?

The yellow letter arrived today.

Asking to bring: NOTHING listed.

Well, i thing I will take everything I have in my files:) Just in case.

Hi N4oo, i see that you had an early bio in the new USCIS location in Phoenix. I went there last week trying an EB but the security guard didnt accept. Last year i did the same thing and they let me in with no problem. What did they tell you when you went there?

So happy to see the USCIS letter in my mailbox today after the long Christmas weekend. Also glad to know my interview date, it's a five hour drive for me to New Orleans, so good to have a month's heads-up. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all VJ-ers.

Is your letter white or yellow? Everyone seems to be receiving a yellow letter. Mine is white.

Yes, via email notification. First you get the 'you have been placed in line for interview scheduling'. Then you get the - you have been scheduled for interview.

11/14/11.....N400 delivered to NE

11/21/11.....Check cashed

11/23/11......NOA recived in the mail(priority date nov 14)(notice date nov 21)..(you will be notified of the date and place of your interview when you have been scheduled by the local USCIS office.you should expect to be notified withing 90 days of this notice)

12/13/11......got text and email about biometric letter being send out

12/17/11.......got biometric letter in the mail(appointment date dec 28th)

12/19/11.....did early walk in FP

12/22/11.......got email and text about being placed in line for interview scheduling

01/30/12.......got email from my IO were i was asked to pick my own interview date and send email back with the date i picked

02/06/12......got INETRVIEW email with appointment letter(have to print that out and bring with me on the interview day)

02/28/12.......INTERVIEW with oath on the same day(as long i pass the test afcorse.)
