Your petition was sent to Vermont based upon the state that the USC petitioner lives in. There are 2 centers that process I-129F petitions (Vermont and California).

Typically, without any delays for requests for evidence by USCIS, expect your NOA-2 in 4-6 months.

I live very close to the Texas drop box so I hand carried it to them. Our K1 app also went to Vermont. We received NOA2 in 115 days. track it once a week on the USCIS site w/ your receipt number. I noticed the approval online about 5 days before receiving it in the mail.

If you can check your case online consider yourself lucky...my case does not appear in the USCIS system. I had to call to make sure the number on my NOA1 was not a typo.

K1 visa - NOA1 - September 19, 2011
