My Guiying'a K1 was finally approved on October 20. They gave her the ems tracking number for the visa but so far she hasn't received it and emails to the consulate in Guangzhou sent last week have not been answered. I'm beginning to get a bit worried about this. Is there anything else we can do?

try the tracking number to see where the visa is???

Sure, other stuff to do:

Call DoS Hotline, inquire for casefile status (# in my profile, click the girls, study left panel)

You are searching for:

Visa Issued

Visa Packet Sent

timeticks. Usually, within 6 days of 'Visa Packet Sent' it shows up in the mailbox (if you used the special EMS address that GUZ IV likes to use)

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Since it was approved on a Thursday, it is likely you missed the GUZ bulk shipment that weekend. It should have gone out this past weekend so I would suspect you will see it by the end of the week.

And while EMS tracking is accurate, it often does not show up online until the day of actual delivery.

Also, make sure you use the Chinese side on the EMS website, the English side does not work very well.
