Lol! We get cheap stuff from Oriental Trading Company (prisms, crayons, whistles etc) and a couple of giant bags of candy from Sam's Club- probably about $50 worth of goodies. End tally was 538 at 8.30pm when our own kids got too tired to carry on. Best was a family of eight, dressed as Snow White and the 7 dwarfs.

Good for you! We do not get so many and Pasha actually likes to sit outside and hand out candy. I do not think there are 500 kids in this town. Very few came after dark.

Alla and I went out Saturday night to see the "adult" parties downtown. Seems like no matter what the women dress as, it is the "naughty" version. If they were coming for candy, I would hand it out! No, probably not.

Our kids are too old. If they were younger I would base my decision more on the traffic safety aspect. Our street is too busy for a young child to be out alone for any ANY reason, but the side streets back here behind us, yeah, no problem.

We had a fair number of kids. Lots of mom's accompanying in costume also. Wy wife saw about four moms in Elvira, Scanty witch, and dominatrix attire, and sent me to the room. Lol, one of the mom's asked if we had anything sweet for her. My wife was in charge of the candy from then on.

I was in the court house yesterday getting my voter registration squared away and the lady was dressed as Dolly Pardon. She had these huge tits so I asked her "are those tits real" She said "of course not" I said "bummer"

seemed an age gap at my place -

12 to 15 travelled in groups, no parents

16 and over, small groups or alone

2 to 11, parents in tow.

yup, i asked, took some notes..

had about 200 sets of visits over 2 hours - my front yard decoration was a bit creepy, though well lighted.
