k1 visa waiting for appt.

Hi i apply for my fiance in April on April 18 uscis recive the papers to make long story short in aug.30 i recived the approval from them .on sept 9th the my case was sent to santo domingo embassy to wait for the appt and as of yet i have not recived anything ive called santo domingo everyday and they tell me the samething everyday that they have not recived any info at this moment im am so desprte i dont know how much longer i have to wait can anyone help me with any info ???????????

Did you send them the package with all the papers and forms? did you get your police records and your medical etc?

You do not state if you have done any of this yet. Generally they wait on you to provide them with the information they request before booking any sort of interview.

i already send the paper that they needed in santo domingo ive call nvc and they tell me that they send it to santo domingo and were just waiting the appt its been 7 weeks since santo domingo recive my case ? im really confussed about all of this .

K-1 can sometimes take forever. When I applied for my husband's fiance visa(last year) they had his case at the embassy on 7/7/10 and they sent me the interview letter in Sept for our interview on Oct 8 (3 F-ing months after they had our case :bonk: )

Call the visa specialist office 202-663-1225. As soon as the recording comes on, dial 1 then o. Ask the operator if you have an interview date and when exactly Santo Domingo received your case. Call everyday until you have your date!!

yes...the visa specialists have the right answers. My husbands interview is in 3 weeks and they are still saying they dont have information in the computer....and there's a few others on here saying the same thing....but they sent me the interview letter so the information is there somewhere. They just don't do a good job at organizing things. The visa specialists will tell you if you have an interview or the status.

oooommmmmmmggggggg!!!!!!!!! i am so happy thank u thank u thank u they just told me that i have a interview on file for nov 28 2011 but i havent recive any letter and he has not nither what should i do now becuase i know he needs this letter to pay something at banco popluar and also needs that package they talk about i no if i call santo doming again they r not going to give me any info they still telling me that my case does not appear in the system please help
