Hello everyone! Do you have any recommendations for a very good hotel in Cebu with free breakfast (buffet or not)? We are planning to stay there for a week with 3 adult children. It's nice if it's around downtown or uptown (not in Lapu-Lapu or Mandaue area coz it's too far). Thank you for your suggestions!

I suggest Elegant Circle Inn. Its in the heart of Cebu City. My friend owns the place. Try to google it for the rates. Have a great time in Cebu!

I stayed at the Radisson Blu back in May. really nice and right next to Sm mall. A little pricey but you can get the free breakfast with a certain room package. AND oh my what Breakfast. A buffet that has every food item in the world on it. Really .

Thank you for the reply guys! Has anyone here tried Citipark Hotel in Mabolo? I was browsing and I came across it and it seems very nice online. Im wondering if anybody here had an experience staying there.

Yeah, I forgot to put my price range. Maybe from 30 to less than 100. We have tried Parklane few years ago. I love it there. But this trip we are on a little budget, so I'm watching the money. Staying for a week paying for two rooms will gonna cost so much. Besides that, we want to be a bit close to my daughter's school in San Carlos University, Talamban Campus.

Alpa City Suites is located in Mandaue, but it's very near to the Mabolo border. It's also near to Talamban (nearest hotel to Talamban that I can think of). Other hotels located in Mabolo are Sarrossa Hotel and Castle Peak Hotel. Mabolo hotels are located quite near to each other, by the way, including Citipark Hotel.

There are quite a few in this area that I like. I am a fan of Fuente Pension house which is in the same area. About a block from the circle. They have a nice view from their rooftop restaurant and they also have a videoke machine they are willing to pull out for you. The food is nothing fancy - it's what you would expect at a pension house but the people are friendly and nice. There is a tourist/travel agent right next door that can book some things (day trips to bohol) for you if you are interested.

Thank you for the suggestions. I checked the websites and they looked good. I'm thinking of Holiday Spa maybe because it's close to Talamban area. But I'm not done browsing all the hotel recommendations yet.

Alpa City Suites is located in Mandaue, but it's very near to the Mabolo border. It's also near to Talamban (nearest hotel to Talamban that I can think of). We have tried staying in Midtown before, like maybe 5 years ago. We did not go back there anymore because the plates that we got for breakfast had some dirt and the eggs tasted really "eggy". I mean, you know the nasty taste of eggs sometimes. But maybe they give better service now?

when we were there in april, we did not stay at midtown because robinsons mall had a real bad fire. you might want to check if they have repaired everything first. we always walked to mcdonalds for breakfast. it was my little bit of "american" food in the morning. after that anything went. we hit every roadside vendor we can find. except balut
