Advice to change POE

Dear All,

I hope that you can help me understand the process that I will go through once I reach the US ,

I received my IV and Visa package from the consulate where I noticed that a summary page OUTSIDE the envelop states that my final destination is New Jersey ( which is the address I mentioned in my application ) while I wanted to arrive in Los Angeles .

So I wonder if arriving at LA shall be a problem or cause a delay to receive my Green card or SSN ?? and what is the process that I should make to allow me to arrive at LA ??

Also how long it takes to receive my GC in normal circumstances??

Any POE is fine... no added delays

I think it'll be mailed to the address in the application. In your case, New Jersey.

At POE Lax leave yourself 3 hours just to get through customs immigration. Domestic terminal n other side of LAX. Travel to there and check in leave 2 hrs to be safe.m Have a nice trip.

No. The OP said they would be ENTERING at New Jersey, not that they will be living there. The card is mailed to their address, not their POE.

OP if you're just changing POE that's no big deal. If you've changed ADDRESS though, make sure you tell them at POE.
