Hi all,

My fiancee and I are already in the K-1 process (80 days today) and waiting for the NOA2. (hoping it will come any day :))

I was thinking to go to the USA over Christmas and New Year to see my fiancee again for like 2 - 3 weeks!

I was in the states this year in May (2 weeks) and September (almost 4 weeks), and I know it is always up to the PoE Officer if you will get in or not.

Both of the times I had to go to 2. inspection, but it was always fine and they were really nice :)

So, all I would like to know is, what you all think about this?

Is it too soon to go to the states again? Could I have more trouble?

I appreciate all your answers :)

Thanks a lot!

Wow.. our cases are so similar ;) I am from Denmark and also waiting for my NOA2 (got NOA1 on august 18). I went back to visit my fiance 2 weeks in jan, 2 weeks in april, 2 months july/august. I never had any problems at all, but at that time we were not applying for the visa.

I was supposed to go back for christmas but now my fiance is coming here instead. However, the Danish embassy informed me that there should be no problem in entering, as long as you have proof that you will be returning to your own country (return ticket, proof of work or school, only stay for a short time etc.)

Good luck!

Normally I'd say you are fine, as you haven't spent that much time in the USA, it is normal to want to be with your fiance at Christmas, and you have proof of wanting to do things legally (bring NOA1/2). But it is a bit concerning you were pulled into secondary twice this year. Do you know why? W#hat did they ask you? Anything written in your passport/ and warnings or advice from the officers (such as don't come back till you get the K1/ they would advice not to come back this year)?

That is great, that he is coming to visit you :)

It is not so easy with us that he can come here to see me :( unfortunately!

I would have all the things to proof!

Thanks and Good luck to you too :)

crossing finger for our NOA2 soon!!

Yes, I have the NOA1 my fiancee sent me via e-mail. I would have a return ticket, my ESTA, a letter from my boss saying I'm coming back to work...

But it is a bit concerning you were pulled into secondary twice this year. Do you know why? W#hat did they ask you? Anything written in your passport/ and warnings or advice from the officers (such as don't come back till you get the K1/ they would advice not to come back this year)?

Yes, I know why...I tried to get a student visa and got denied. I did a new ESTA (was honest and said I got denied) and I got a approved :)

In May I went to a friends wedding and the officer (2. inspection) was really nice and asked my I'm here, how long, and I had to fill out the green form you don't get on the airplane anymore, just to prove if I'm gonna be honest again with the denied visa, which I did, he checked my suitcase and said I was fine and he has no concern about me entering the states :)

In September I told the first officer, I'm gonna visit my fiancee, I got invited to my soon-to-be-nephews baptism...so he sent me into 2. inspection. I was talking to two ladys at the second inspection. All they wanted to know, when our wedding day is :) I said, we don't know know yet, because we need to wait for the NOA2, so we have a better time range to figure it out. They meant I should to talk to my fiancee while I'm here to figure the date out. And one of them said, I should be getting my NOA2 in December and she would see me in March to enter the states with my visa :) and said I'm good to go :) The ladys handed my passport to some guys to give me my stamp and those two were not really happy about doing it?

I was just checking my passport...and all I saw was the stamps from entering the states. I always got the 90 days. And No, none of them said anything like that!

That is a good sign. I'd say you'll be ok, just bring proof that you will return, as you mentioned, and don't bring anything that could imply you want to immigrate (such as your birth cert, resume, crockery etc...). You will likely go to 2ndary again, so if there is a connecting flight, make sure you leave yourself enough time.

Thank you so much :) I will always have proof with me! No, I won't...just some warm clothes, after they have already snow at the east coast now :)

I will wait for those things until I will go to the USA for good!

I think so too...I'm already used to it...haha

I was thinking to surprise my fiancee :) they always have Christmas at his brothers house. So, he doesn't know anything about it and on Christmas morning I will be there :)

Do you think, if I get an invitation for spending Christmas with his family would help too?

I really hope this won't happen, but what if they won't let me in! Will this affect my K-1 visa? Do you know that?
