I filed the I-130 and the I-129F for my husband in Jamaica in September. I live in California and I wanted to know how long it will take for any one of these to process. From the topics I've read it seems as if it may take 106 days from the first NOA letter.

Please help I'm missing my husband.

Sorry to tell u this but the average time for NOA2 is 4-5month. Only a lucky few have gotten it in less than a month. This process is about patience which hard when your apart from your loved one. Have faith.

@Terri...I129f are used for K3 as well

I live in CA and filed in February. I also filed the I-129 and I-130. Please note, the I-129 will be disregarded if the I-130 is approved earlier or concurrent. Our appointment was in October. A word of experience, consult an attorney before the interview.

This is a bunch of Bull, everyone follows the same path in line. The total time for a CR1 or K3 visa for Jamaica is 9 to 10 months.

BTW, everyone that files misses their husband or SO. It goes with the price of the process.

Well that maybe your case for the East but I'm on the West so thank you for the information you are giving me from Vermont. If I file anything over there I'll keep your advise in mind. And BTW I never said no one elsa misses their husband or SO. We also knew and still know that it comes with the price of the process.

Thank You.

Things take time and unfortunately, this is one of those cases. You just have to be patient. Just try to keep yourself busy so this process doesn't drive you insane. Its easier said than done, I know (been there) but it will be so worth the wait in the end... Best of Luck to you on your journey. Keep faith alive! star_smile.gif
