My fiancé and I filed Jan 2011 and Peter had his interview in London on Aug 11th 2011 . Only a 5 min interview and he was very prepared with all the paperwork needed and more. Was told he was approved and would receive his visa and passport back in 7 to 10 days. We have not heard anything . The worst part was he waited a few weeks we planned our wedding date and he could not make it, very sad as we had spoken to my state senator and the were trying to get things expidited so his sister could come to the US for our wedding as she has terminal cancer . But now the drs won't let her fly.

All we get from the US embassy is that it's still in " administrating processing". not sure why they don't answer emails or not even been polite enough to let him now why the hold up. He is retired and I am near retirement. All we want is to be together. He has no criminal record not even a traffic violation. Is any one going through a similar situation and know what else can be done to find more from the embassy?
