The consul as you may hae already read wanted to issue the visa but the computer wouldnt let him click yes or no, and sent a 221g with Adiminsitrative Processing and said hubby wouldnt need to go back to Juarez but would get instructions in a few days up to two weeks on how to send in the passport to the embassy....

So, from what I read, AP is where you DONT ever want to be.... Any links I could read that would be benificial as to what my next steps are? I feel so lost in this now and the consul said there is no where we can call until we get the letter....

Ive been in this process for our ir1 over 3 years, this is just a slap in the face. We dont even want to live in the US, but since they have denied him tourist visas they told us we had to do the ir1 visa.... And now they pull this ####### on me.... So much money put in to this.....

Thanks!

Fell in love on a missions trip in 2005, got married in 07, got pregnant and started IR1 visa process in 08, had baby number 2 in 10, and its now 2011, and we are just now finally getting to the end of this long road. (The mail from the embassy never arrives to my home, causing us trouble. Fingers crossed and prayers going up! Both kids born and raised in Mexico and American citizens by CRBA:

His Appointement is October 25th!

Sorry AP seems to be pretty standard only some lucky few get out of it and i don't know what that criteria is i wish i did. Maybe yours will end quickly. Try to be patient though i don't think AP takes long time from mexico. You can call dept of state for updates.
