I have been waiting only one month for my NOA2 so please don't think I'm complaining about my one month wait so far.

What I'm interested in knowing is what sorts of problems (and should I be worried) might delay a K1 visa up to a year or more? I found these (among others) still unapproved petitions on this site and it got me wondering:

# Date Sent First NOA RFE Second NOA

Tip: Don't worry until we tell you to worry.

Fill out the forms correctly. Follow the directions and expect yours to be complete in 5.5 to 7.5 months. Most are.

These couples likely broke up and didn't bother to update their profiles. That would be my guess.

didn't bother to update their timelines...shame on them. Thanks everyone.

combination of...

1. Just didn't update timeline or busy honeymooning as Misha & Ira said

2. Broken up as DaleFlorida said

or they

3. forgot the password doesn't to remember it so they changed username.

4. Just some cases are complicated that's why its taking them so long.

5. Abandoned the K-1 process and rerouted to something else.

I try and read between the lines, I see some who get approved and never return, others who do not continue never return and old times who have hung in there for us all. About 7 months till completion.
