Just wondering if anyone has seen the movie "Like Crazy" it's not playing in theaters around me but a bunch of my friends in California told me that it's a love story about an American and a UK citizen and their visa problems and what not. It looks really good. Wish I could see it!!!

OK, but I have to say that the movie lacks impact when the foreign beneficiary is from a VWP country and can come visit anytime they want, and vice versa.

Why not from a country whose good citizens are treated like reptiles when they apply for a tourist visa to the USA? Or one where you are guaranteed a year of AP on top of everything else? I mean, c'mon, UK? It is hardly even a foreign country, relatively speaking

Good points, but it makes the women feel good, definitely a chick flick. Hell, I feel sorry for the poor guys that'll get dragged into a movie theater

to watch it.

Well, I'm from Canada, and I had the unfortunate situation of being denied entry and not being able to cross the border for a certain amount of time. So, yeah, I can relate. My fiance and I were apart for two years because of it. I was supposed to be gone for 2 months....so while I certainly feel for the other countries that are given a hard time, trust me, it certainly wasn't easy to be in interrogation for 3 hours while they yelled at me, left me alone for periods of time, and threatened to arrest me... To this day I am nervous to travel even domestically when I had been traveling freely across the US border my whole life. Just sayin'.....

:) :) I certainly have something in my love life that i can relate to this great movie. For one thing, and to those who have been to this situation, we all know that when you meet someone and you fell in love "Like Crazy" from across a thousand mile it breaks your heart to say good bye when your returning home. I remember the day when I have to leave her and return home, she took me to the airport and while we were in the taxi I can't stop her crying. I wanted to comfort her as much as i can, but it was just too hard too say "I will come back and mary you baby" (L) (L) (L)
