Hi everyone,

I posted this question on the other topic but thought I would get more input here so I'm posting it again here and would very much appreciate your help.

There are a few questions in form I-130 asking about the place of birth and place of marriage of the relative. The place of my relative has changed it's name through the years. Could anyone please let me know if we must use the current name (which would look different from the name on her Birth Certificate) or the old name (when she was born and got married)?

Thanks so much for your help.

The bast bet is to attach a separate sheet that explains. On whatever question type see attached and then on the separate paper something like

Question XX place of birth current called Los Angles Ca aka city of angles 1940-1963 aka ....

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
