Hi everyone!

I am yet to start filing for petition for k1 visa shortly..so was wondering which USCIS is the fastest?I would appreciate it if you gave me all the time frame for all the centers.thank you in advance!

**** hi kiara ... if the process remains the same as when I started mine earlier this year, you must apply to the USCIS office in accordance with your direction, appears in the instructions according to the state you live in the petitioner, the office that crews is submit the request.

You do not decide where your case goes. You have to send it to Texas as stated above, and they will send on your petition from there. You cannot request a specific service center. It does seem as if CSC is the fastest one though..-however, you will quickly learn that in "this business" there are no guarantees, sadly!

*** The instructions are clear, there is indicates that you must file Form I-129F to USCIS Dallas. For U.S. Postal Service: PO Box 660151 USCIS Dallas, TX 75266, or if by overnight courier courier deliveries: USCIS Attn: I-129F 2501 South Highway 121 Suite 400 State Enterprises Lewisville, TX 75067 ... Then they do the distribution corresponding to the different USCIS offices, and it takes into account the location of the petitioner.

That's no longer correct, as other posters have indicated, the I-129F is sent to the lockbox facility in Texas (and the lockbox facility is not the same facility as the service center in Texas). The lockbox facility will send the file to one of the two service centers that adjudicate I-129F petitions (CA or VT) and there is no way of know which one until after it is routed.

Vermont handles east coast filers and Cal handles west coast. depends on the address of who filed it, as to where TX will send it.

Generally true, but not always the case. There have been posts from other VJ members who live in Atlantic Coast states but still had their files sent to California; although I haven't heard of the reverse happening which is Pacific Coast state filers having had their files sent to Vermont. Address of the petitioner is a factor, however, workload at one of the two service centers is a factor also and that may be a more determining factor.
