dont stress out about this, you can get both of those documents. You can go online and order your 1040 and W2's. I had to do this for our K1 interview, and was able to get the 1040s within 30 minutes.

I dont remember the website that i used, but there are tons of resources online. I hope this helps!

it SEEMS that the first way is free and fast. but i have to apply 1040 and w2 separately.. the second way costs me 57 dollars and it ups to 60 days get them.

First of all you ONLY need the transcripts--not the 1040 and W-2, so take the first choice. If you read the instructions carefully you will see that NVC PREFERS the transcripts, so as long as you are ordering, you might as well get all three years transcripts--it will make your life easier.

You should call the IRS with the phone provided in your previous post. I recommend you that when you do so... you are by a fax machine (if you don't have a fax machine, go to office max or office depot and get their fax number, call IRS using your cell and they will send the transcripts immediately) USCIS accepts the fax transcripts.

He'll be able to order the 2010 transcript from there.

but - suggest instead of the return itself, he send off the tax transcripts.

Note there are two types. tax return transcript is usually adequate, unless he had to have any adjustment after the initial filing; if that's the case - he needs both types per year.

Suggest to get 3 years worth, GUZ IV usually wants to see 3 years.
