K2, doccument of permission

Hi guys

Does someone know what is the doccument that I have to have for the K2? is it a regular permission from the father/mother to travel to other country? or is it a special one?

It's a letter signed by the father, notarized that states the minor child has permission to PERMANENTLY immigrate to the USA. Copy of the father's cedula (identification) and/or passport is required.

If it's done in Peru, you'll need to go straight to a Notaria, they do all the paperwork, this is now the way to do it. There is no other... If it's done outside Peru you'll need to go to a Consulate and then take it to Relaciones Exteriores

Things have changed a little these past months, but you can enter here: usvisa-info.com and check on Peru's site to clarify all your inquiries. About Dr's app you can schedule it as soon you got you interview date. If packet 3-4 doesn't arrive, you can go to USEM (after your date is set) to pick up a copy, you can go there from Mon to Fri between 9 and 10 am

It can vary by country but in general this is correct. The letter MUST state that the absent parent gives permission for the child to relocate PERMANENTLY to the UNITED STATES.

I suggest you add the wording that the permission extends to future visits also.
