I 134 Question # 10 - Whether to check INTEND or N/A

I understand that this question on I 134 probably don't apply to K1s (this is more for student visas and others) where a school sets a specific amount needed to be shown. But I'm not sure if we should leave it blank, or mark N/A to this. I found under examples on this site, that you can just answer this question by saying "N/A" and then explain below something along the lines : "K-1 visa process for permanent residence (Sponsor will provide all expenses as necessary when he arrives. We will reside at sponsor's residence at the address mentioned above until we get married soon after his arrival and will continue to live there after we get married. It is my intention to support the needs of the household and both our financial needs until my future husband receives his EAD and starts working"

This is what my fiance is suggesting we should type under the explanation section.

Has anyone done something like this, if so have you checked INTEND and then the explanation or have most of you just put N/A for this question along with some sort of explanation?

I'd really appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Ashley :help:

The title should probably be question #11.

I did exactly what was stated in the example form without checking either of the boxes.

"N/A ( K1 visa process for permanent residence )"

Hi, thanks for the response. And yes, sorry I meant to say Question # 11.

So you've already gone through the interview and there was no problems at all with what you had put it on I 134 based on the example?

Thanks,

Ashley

I also have gone through my interview and had no problems at all with the I-134. It was filled out exactly as the example says.

Filled exactly as the example states and no problem not even a question asked of it.

Thanks again! Sorry but one more question on this very topic, If I'm making $45000.00, should I still show a little bit of savings and a car under personal property. If I do, do I need to attach the title and saving account statement?

Based on the example on this site, they are not showing anything else except for the salary! Since mine is $45000.00 which is still above the 125% of the poverty line, do I even bother with the car and savings? Thanks again.

You dont even need to bother at all if you are at or above the 125% we did not send anything extra or show anything extra. Only salary.

Great, thank you so much! One more follow up, did you as the beneficiary of K1 visa petition take any of your personal financial statements such as bank account/ savings etc from your bank in Canada? I need to know if my fiance need to bring those statements with him. He said it's not mentioned anywhere in the documents needed for the interview, so he's not planning on bringing those with him to the interview. But I thought I'd just double check it with you?

As beneficiary they gave 2 shits about my bank account, my money or my job. Its all about the US citizens job and income!
