Did'nt quite know where to ask this question! My wife is going to China to be with her son during the interview process for him. Anyhow,my question regarding travel is,What name should she use to purchase her airline ticket? Her green card and US drivers licence is in her married American name, her Chinese passport/visa is in Chinese? Any ideas?

International travel? Passport name

Domestic travel? Doesn't matter

Actually for domestic travel, the name used must match whatever form of ID the ticket holder presents as proof they are who they say they are.

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

Have her get the airline tickets in her passport name, the pin yin printed on the bio page.

She will need to show the passport when she goes through security at any airport,

then show the GREEN CARD with the CBP desk on arrival into a POE into the USA.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
