Your case actually freaked me out! I'm still married but we separated 4 years ago and that's why I applied for my citizenship after 5 years. Is it possible that they ask about my marriage or ask me to show them any evidence that our marriage was not fake? we were married about 7 years before we get to US and used to live together in our country.

Nothing is "unimpossible," but it's not very likely to happen.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

I would suggest you start by involving your representative/senator's office.. Some of them are very responsive.. I can't believe its been a year for your application to be pending. USCIS is required to adjudicate every application within 120 days of the initial interview either with denial or approval, that is the law. Very clearly to anyone who doesn't know:

Section 336 (b) of the Immigration and Naturalization Act (INA) (Same one under which you get your naturalization or any visa or permanent residence in the US) STATES that:

"If there is a failure to make a determination under section 335 before the end of the 120-day period after the date on which the examination is conducted under such section, the applicant may apply to the United States district court for the district in which the applicant resides for a hearing on the matter. Such court has jurisdiction over the matter and may either determine the matter or remand the matter, with appropriate instructions, to the Service to determine the matter. "

Unfortunately this has become a common practice.

Here is a guide to preparing for the worst (A civil suit against USCIS). There is two ways to go about it. You can do it on your own and there is a guide for that:

OR you can hire a lawyer:

Lawyers know and do this very often. Find a good lawyer, there are lawyers who would do this for about $2500-3500.. or you can go to lawyers who got OJ out.. I am pretty sure they will charge you a whole lot of more money than some people quote over here. I know quite a few lawyers and I am telling you, normal ones won't charge you more than $3500. Shop around!

Thanks to all, finnaly i got a respond.....
