This is what happened to my husbands visa

Ok to explain what happened to my husbands visa here it is.

The consul said yes amd only asked for the i864. He was very nice to my hubby and said yes, but e comouter wouldnt let him click niether approve or deny visa. So he had to give him a 221g and put administrative processing. He said not to call until we got a letter that will have instructions on how to send in his passport so they can put the visa in it. Has this happened to anyone. Im afraidk someone else at the embassy will acciedentally deny it even though the consul said yes.

Has this happened to anyone? This took place in Cd. Juarez mexico

Fell in love on a missions trip in 2005, got married in 07, got pregnant and started IR1 visa process in 08, had baby number 2 in 10, and its now 2011, and we are just now finally getting to the end of this long road. (The mail from the embassy never arrives to my home, causing us trouble. Fingers crossed and prayers going up! Both kids born and raised in Mexico and American citizens by CRBA:

His Appointement is October 25th!

Sorry that should have been the computer. The consul said the letter should be here in 3 days up till 2 weeks.

USCIS: (108 days)
Spouse's Journey (F2A) - USCIS
02/22/2011 - Filed I-130 as F2A
02/28/2011 - Notice of Action 1 (NOA1)
06/16/2011 - Notice of Action 2 (NOA2)

NOA2 to NVC (32 days to get Case number)
NVC: (28 days)
07/18/2011 - NVC Received and got NVC case#.
07/18/2011 - Send my Naturalization Certificate via mail and email for upgrading my case from F2A to CR1.
07/19/2011 - Gave both emails to NVC and received IIN#
07/21/2011 - Got confirmation email about changing my petition from F2A to CR1. Up-gradation took 4 business days.
07/29/2011 - AOS Fee Bill Received & Paid Online.
07/29/2011 - DS-3032 Email sent to NVC from beneficiary.
08/01/2011 - AOS package invoice shows "PAID" and Package mailed to NVC.
08/02/2011 - DS-3032 received by NVC.
08/03/2011 - IV Fee Bill Received & Paid Online.
08/04/2011 - IV Fee Bill invoice shows "PAID" and DS-230 package mailed to NVC.
08/16/2011 - SIF & Case Completed

08/29/2011 - Interview Email.
New Delhi Consulate:
10/06/2011 - Medical Done.
10/17/2011 - Interview Date and Visa Approved !
10/20/2011 - Passport with Visa picked up from local VFS office.
12/16/2011 - P.O.E.
01/19/2012 - Receive Green card in mail

2013-11-13 - Apply for Removal of Conditions.

2013-11-23 - NOA Date

2014-03-27 - Approval.

2014-04-01 - Green Card received.

This has been explained in your other post on this same subject. The officer told your husband everything looked ok but they couldnt issue the visa. This is called A P which is why he got the 221g.

There will be no accident in the decision. There are details that require review.

There will be no accident in the decision. There are details that require review.

You are using a co sponsor so you should have turned in two forms. An 864 for you & I think its an 864a for the co sponsor. Did you submit both? You have to do it even though you dont have income.

You are using a co sponsor so you should have turned in two forms. An 864 for you & I think its an 864a for the co sponsor. Did you submit both? You have to do it even though you dont have income.

A joint sponsor would submit an I-864 in addition to the I-864 the petitioner submits.

If I remember the O.P.'s case her husband was denied a tourist visa quite a few times. This could be what really triggered the A.P.

Yes we gave both. Would that make it impossible for the consul to click yes on the visa approval, can the computer puck out who gets an AP? The dide was lime I wanna give it to you and tried a million things to get the comouter to work. It just sucks bieng in AP because its like i dont kniw anything about the case.
