Hi everybody! we have a question, we sent the K1 petition and we checked today with USPS and they received it. Do we have to wait for letters from USCIS now? Or call and ask about the status?

Thanks!

You wait until you get your NOA1. Then you wait 5 months to get your NOA2.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

You don't have to call at all, they will send you a notice (NO1) advising you that they received your application then some months later (usually around 5 months) you get an approval. What can happen in the emantime is you may or may not get a Request for evidence (that is if they need additional information from you). Good luck

No need but you can sign up at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do if you didn't fill out G1145 form.

NOA1 is receieved electronically in 3days after sending another 4 days for the hard copy.

NOA2 sometimes 1-3mos, more delay if you receive an RFE.

In Manila, K-1, VISA is received in 5-7mos time.

Happy New Year!
