How Long Does NOA1 Take?

Did anyone else here have to wait for their NOA1? I sent in the form for a text or email, but nothing..

I haven't gotten the return receipt either. Now I'm worried, even though I checked the address several times.

Everyone seems to have gotten some kind of notification within 3 days, is there anyone else whose notification took longer?

Mine took about a week. Be patient, you'll get it

(and yes, I realize you're applying for a K1 vs my CR-1, but the NOA1 is the same thing, just them letting you know they received your application)

Hi, mine took 1 day and then about 5 days to get the hardcopy, but it varies so be patient, it`s sure you will get it, I have seen other cases like that and they are normal luck in your journey!!

Dont worry my NOA1 took a while, i sent my packet off 10/5, they got it 10/7 but i didnt get a notification till the 18th.. and the letter receipt via mail was received couple days later, and the receipt on the letter was dated 10/11.... so give it a bit, when did you send yours off????

When did you send it in, and did you get a USPS or courier tracking number? My fiance sent our I-129F on Friday (Oct 21st), checked USPS tracker, it got to the Dallas Lockbox Sunday night(Oct 23rd) and he got the email NOA1 last night (Oct 26th).

I wouldn't worry, I've been looking at peoples timelines and some people have waited 9+ days for their NOA1. I know you want to know it's safe, it should turn up soon.

When you say they got it the 7th, you mean that's when they dated the return receipt or you found out later that's when they got it?

Just be patient. We received the NOA1 after 11 days.. yours will come soonest!

When you say they got it the 7th, you mean that's when they dated the return receipt or you found out later that's when they got it?

i sent mine from california as well, i had the tracking receipt, so that way i can track it as it gets to chicago... but no worries it will get there, and you will get your NOA1... after that thats when the waiting begins lol

My check has not been cashed.

The tracking receipt says they received it early on Tuesday morning. That is a good sign, right? So hopefully it will only take a few days. It's just weird that some would be notified in one day and others take weeks. Oh well, it is the government after all, what can you do?

By the way, for those who asked, it was sent USPS return receipt requested, but not expedited.

patience is difficult.

I mailed mine on 5/29, it was signed for on 6/1 the check cleared 6/6 it's now 6/9 and still no email...I look at the timelines and see 7 days from mailing for most.

As I said...patience is difficult.
