Waiting for NOA2 and NVC case #...

Guys,

So per USCIS local office Director's email sent 10:52 am to senators office, I-130 was approved on 10/11. But i still haven't recieved approval notice in mail, no update of case status online, and NVC shows no record as of yet of the case been recieved. So my Q is ####### is going on with these ppl.. Sorry it is nonsense. any ideas Plz and Thx..

USCIS

02/07/2011 I-130 to Chicago Lockbox

02/22/2011 Priority date

02/24/2011 Received hard copy of NOA1 in mail

06/11/2011 I-130 transferred to USCIS office

09/02/2011 RFE

09/13/2011 RFE docs delivered to local office

09/29/2011 Additional RFE package delivered

10/11/2011 Senator's office informed APPROVED

11/05/2011 NOA2 in snail mail.....forgot about it...

NVC

10/24/2011 case recieved

11/18/2011 Case # assigned..

11/21/2011 AOS fee paid online & DS-3032 sent through email

11/23/2011 Agent of choice through email accepted. Paid IV fee online..

11/25/2011 Both fees show "paid". Sent AOS & IV in one package...

11/28/2011 AOS & IV packets delivered.../letter rcvd-Expedite request denied..huh..

12/02/2011 RFE on phone for AOS section 25..

12/03/2011 Revised I-864 sent..

12/09/2011 Case complete.

01/26/2012 Medical done..

02/07/2012 Interview done but temp denied.. green 221g

A Hard wait begins...Plz God help....

So per the CIS Ombudsman office (after she played with USCIS system computer i guess), the case is still in the local office as of 10/24 and hasn't left for NVC yet. Has this happened to anyone OR MY CASE IS JUST Special...

It has happened to others. I seen people have theirs stuck at uscis for 2 weeks. So, hang in there. Once it gets to nvc it took like 19 days to get a case number....another wait.

Good luck. I hope yours is sent soon and it gets a number soon.

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

An expedite doesn't carry through all stages. You must request an expedite from NVC and another one from the embassy.

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

14 days from CIS till NVC case number assigned.
