I have been trying to figure out what the wait time for the Paris embassy between Case Complete and Interview date is, but it only seems that there are French K-1 filers up in here....dont get me wrong, I (L) you guys (go Corinne!!!). I just need to know if there are also any married CR-1 visa gems in the crowd who could help me figure this equation out? No one answered me in the French thread  and I have never been this tired from being so curious and impatient. I am officially crazy. Stamped and approved. Anywho, thanks for your help.

I don't know how helpful this is to you, but you can take a look at my information below. I think my timeframe is pretty typical for Paris... they seem to schedule about five weeks out. Are you trying to figure out when your interview date will get assigned or when your interview will likely take place?

Hi!!!

I am so sorry, I only saw your reply now.

Finally got my interview date: 12/21/2011. Hadrien is sad that the interview date is so far away, so I am going to try and re-schedule the date.

I don't know how easy that will be but I will give it a shot.

How did your interview go? Would love some info to calm Hadrien down. You know how those French are!! So nervous all the time.lol. I am half French as well, so I know.

Glad to hear they finally assigned your interview date! That is a bit far off, so I wish you the best of luck in rescheduling. Back in "my day" (a few months ago, haha) there were a few people from European embassies who succeeded in moving their interview dates up... I don't specifically know of any at the Paris embassy, but as you know there aren't too many French IR-1/CRI-1 filers.

I definitely understand you and your husband's nervousness, but I'll just reiterate what you probably already know about Paris... it's a cake walk in the grand scheme of embassy interviews. I'm sure you guys will be totally fine! You can read my embassy review at the bottom of my timeline page... it pretty much details my husband's whole interview experience. It was very smooth and easy, and the most stressful part was actually waiting for the visa to arrive in the mail (ours took slightly longer than average).

Anyway, best of luck and congratulations - you guys are almost done with this mess! It's nice to meet some fellow Frenchies smile.gif
