I think beligerrent is a very strong word. I am more inclined to use the word assertive. Personally I dont know anyone who spend less than 3 hours inside. Therefore, I am more inclined to believe that being polite to them will be viewed as submissive(I have to beg to be allowed into God's insolvent baby) and I may end up spending 3 hours or more.

You are ASKING permission to enter into a country that you do not have an innate right to enter. I wouldn't call that begging but you seem to feel that way.

As part of the process of requesting entry you must SUBMIT to inspection. The depth of said inspection is at the discretion of the CBP.

If these two concepts offend you then maybe you shouldn't worry so much about coming to a country you've done nothing but insult for the duration of this thread.

I have every right to insult people or adminstrations who have inappropriate things. Ive done nothing? Ive contributed a substansial amount of money to a country that is flat broke. I would have withdrawn that if not for the legal implications that i would have faced had I done that. No one has an inherent right to enter any country. No one still seems to get it that making threats is downright "illegal" and that has what the officers have done.

The OP has received sufficient responses to his original post that there is no further need to keep reiterating the same situation. As this thread now serves no further purposes except as a forum to continue to re-hash the situation in increasingly insulting tones, I am now closing it to further discussion.
