I applied in July and its 3 months in... I can't take this anxiety anymore. Waiting for the NOA2... Any other person out there in my shoes

Thanks for the response however, I think I am going to continue being optimistic that it comes sooner. I have a friend who applied in may and it was approved in August. I know it varies case by case,

I know, right? It's driving me nuts too! It will so be worth it in the end! Can't wait to have him here to cuddle up with at night, especially with winter on its way!

Don't expect a response any sooner than 5 months for the NOA2. Great if it comes sooner.

My wife and I went through the same thing. It had me consumed. Everyday, all day. All I thought about is, "will that day ever arrive".

The good news is it does.

The sad news is the time remaining after you receive your NOA2 to the iterview date is typically another 3 plus months.

We had our NOA2 in 5 months. It took 10 months before she was finally here in the USA. The time to interview from NOA2 to interview varies from one country to the next. See tme lines in Visa Journey for Nigeria

It was worth the wait.

I feel exactly the same way. We filed in June and people around our NOA1 date have already gotten their NOA2's, but we are still waiting.... kinda feeling like they've lost our application. lol. Just antsy!

Have you called them to inquire about your case status? I know its almost impossible getting any concrete info from USCIS but its worth giving it a try esp. when you feel it may be lost. Best of Luck.

02/17/2012 - DS-3032 and AOS bill generated.

02/22/2012 - AOS fee bill paid online.

02/23/2012 - DS-3032 emailed.

02/23/2012 - AOS fee bill cleared, IVR updated.

02/24/2012 - Received 'We have received your DS-3032 email from NVC.'

no I haven't bothered calling them yet, as it's still within their 5 month processing timeline. just am trying to be a patient a little longer! lol thanks! i'm sure they just have to dig it out of the pile and finally start working on it.

Well we have been waiting since the end of April, and still we are optimistic it will be given next week. Sure was hoping to be with my honeybun for Christmas. It may be him coming for a visit to Canada.Ours is a K1 visa. Never give up. All in due time.
