I just thought I'd let everyone know that me and my husband have sent in all our paperwork today. If you read some of my past posts you know we are filling I-130 and I-485 together. I am hoping for the best. Any one else filling recently??? Want to see who will be on the journey with me :)

4/20/2010: Met for the first time

8/01/2010: Moved in together at his parents

5/29/2011: Asked me to marry him :)

7/01/2011: Started renting my sister's guest room together

7/14/2011: Got married officially

USCIS

10/26/2011: sent I-130 I-485 and I-765

11/02/2011: received Email USCIS Acceptance Confirmation for I-130 I-485 and I-765

11/03/2011: received NOA1 for I-130 I-485 and I-765

11/23/2011: Biometrics appointment for I-485 and I-765

01/09/2012: Recieved EAD in mail

02/08/2012: Interview Date (APPROVED!)

Yes I feel like it took us forever. But finally everything is out.

Checking ther tracking number on my package and it looks like its in Memphis TN right now . and should get there with in the next couple of days (sent via FedEx)

It took me about a month to assemble my package)But ..finally ..

I sent my I-130 and I-485 on the 24th of October by USPS Express, I checked out delivery status on Internet,and it has already been delivered safely)huh, now I just gotta wait :)

04/18/2011: received NOA-1 for i-130, check cashed

10/26/2011: USCIS received payment/check cashed for i-485 package

10/31/2011: received NOA-1 for i-485 and i-765

How have you been... Your case involves a I-485...? I thought your case category was F2A..? Did the petition upgrade to the US Citizen category (IR1/CR1)? OR is the applicant legally in the USA so that AOS route could be taken. ..?

Hi Ricardo,

Its good to hear from you again. Long time no talk. I saw that you are now a Citizen congrats!! I am happy for you :) My case is in fact still in F2A catagory its still in. However as you may remember my dad died. My boyfriend at the time was really the only person who has been able to keep my head up and really to be honest the only person who has been consoling after my dad died. He asked me to move in with him because I was always alone in my sisters house and it wasnt helping me much. Its emberassing to say but I think I was really getting into depression. He asked me to marry him and I ofcourse said yes. He told me that with him being a US Citizen he can file for me and so thats what he did. We have called and asked bbut they say not to worry because the other petition gets voided. Anyway, with that said yes my case involves an I-485. He was told by an Immigration Officer who happens to be a neighbor that he needs to file both forms together. So thats what we did.

I know that your brother was also same catagory as me, if I remember correctly... How is everything going??

I sent mine out Oct 29! I got the email and text message confirmations, and the checks have been cashed. I checked the status online and we're in the "initial review" stage. Good luck!
