Nope, AT&T failed miserably to provide me with the international service. I went with my iPhone and all I used it for is to take pictures and video.

Well in order for u to use the iPhone in Egypt u have to get it unlocked n jailbroken so it can work with any sim card n the version of the software has to be somewhat under 4.2 n it should be able to work just fine because I tried it personally n it worked great in Egypt

May you share your experience with AT&T, T-mobile, Verizon, or any others regarding Plans, extra prices, network coverage, customer service,...etc.

As well, if I relocated from NY to any oil states such as Texas, California, Gulf of Mexico, North Dacota,...what will be the coverage of each one?

Thanks

They are equally a Rip-Off! Virginmobile uses Sprint towers. All 3 you mentioned have a contract requirements and questionable billing practices. I live in the DFW area and have experience with all 3.

Verizon without a doubt is the most reliable network.

I do not live in Egypt. I live in NYC with an AT&T contract. It works for you because you unlocked it and were able to install any sim card and software. Once you do all that, it picks up the signal from any satellite. That's not the case once you have a contract with a provider. IN order for any phone to work, the provider must have a contract with a provider internationally. Vodafone has a contract with Verizon to work with most smartphones, so that's why Droids work. So when I travel to Egypt and turn on my phone, instead of reading "Verizon" it reads "Vodafone."

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.

I have had all the 4 major companies T mobile sprint at&t and Verizon i can honestly say that the top 2 are At&t and Verizon. If calling internationally Verizon has better rates per min if u add an international calling plan (3.99) per month att has better data pricing if your a low data user... Calling plans are priced the same so dont believe that Verizon cost more... And the new iphone 4GS is a global device. But hands down i've never had a signal issue with Verizon.. At&t had dropped call on my iphone 3gs and it was stuck on the edge (super slow) speed when i went to northern Wisconsin (the dells) that why i switch to verizon. Sprint and T-mobile don't even come close... They aren't worth the time or money... Id advise you to for some research into the contract terms of each company...

T Mobile is #######! Well, in my experience so far. In fact, I have found a huge disparity between cell phone providers in the USA and the U.K. From experience I would say that the U.K has more choice, flexibility and better rates. I don't like T Mobile here in the U.S--expensive, not so good customer service, but the coverage seems to be okay. My fiance's family use sprint and AT&T. Sprint have great deals and really good phones. I have found a service called Cricket, but you would need to check the coverage for the area you are in. I think you need to decide what is a priority to you when you use a cell phone provider and then work out from there your best options. There are lots of sites on google that offer comparisons, so that you can see exactly what one offers over the other. Comparisons

I hope that helps.

Horees we have T mobile and we have 2 phones. My husband has a 4g phone and has unlimited data and I have a 3 g phone a nokia and I have 200mb data limit as I don't use it much for internet. Our plan is $59.99 a month with the extras as I have international unlimited texting as my daughters are in Australia and that's only $15 a month so all up with our insurance as well we pay $140 a month for 2 phones.

As stated before AT&T and T Mobile are converging in the future.

I remember I used to have Sprint. I had to drop them because where I lived at the time and where I worked at the time I could not get cell phone reception in those two places. Once I walked out of the house or out work 1 foot and I would get reception. Now I have T-mobile and I was able to get reception just fine at home and at work.

 Who needs a phone when you have telepath! However you need to fill out Form I-D10T, to get it. There should not be any fees with applying. Once approved, the only issue is lead walls or rooms. Also note that long distances can put a strain on the procesor and you.

For more information please do a search for I-D10T.

Not sure about the person who said Verizon is cheaper but... it is WAY more expensive than AT&T or T-Mobile here.

I'd go for either of those two. T-Mobile has less coverage I think (and to the person who said theyre merging.... that merge was stopped a while back although they're trying again) but AT&T has great coverage and I never really have any issues! We also use the family plan.

I dont know where you're living but Verizon is poop in Louisiana. Coverage blows.
