Verizon cost really higher than T-mobile

Family plan for 2 lines unlimited text & minutes costs $100/month @ T-mobile

while the same plan costs $150 @ verizon

Both without data

I think this is too much? or are there any hidden costs 2 T-mobile???

I don't know where you got that. My plan is unlimited everything and 2G of data for $80 a month with Verizon.

May you share your experience with AT&T, T-mobile, Verizon, or any others regarding Plans, extra prices, network coverage, customer service,...etc.

As well, if I relocated from NY to any oil states such as Texas, California, Gulf of Mexico, North Dacota,...what will be the coverage of each one?

Thanks

I personally have both t-mobile and simple mobile.. but i like simple mobile better because i'm able to text egypt and be on the internet 24/7 for just 40 dollars.. not bad.. and now H2O.. is even better.. they have a plan for 60.. which have 20 dollars of it in international mins... and then unlimited text and call and internet... it works great actually... I'm switchin to it.. when my fiance comes next month...

How's the call quality for you with H20 compared to Simple Mobile? I saw H20 online recently but decided to try Simple Mobile first.

I said family plan for 2 lines, it costs $150 for both the 2 lines, while it costs $100 @Tmobile

Check the overages on T-Mobile, data and if they charge for the moment you hit 'send' vs the moment the call is answered. In other words, if you call and there's no answer, AT&T, and soon T-Mobile, will still charge you or deduct 1 minute for the phone to ring. Verizon will only charge the moment someone answers. That's the trick of the 'cheap' plans.

There again, I work in an industry where I rely almost completely on my phone as I travel a LOT! If this is not your case, then go with the cheapest and most convinient for you. My experience calling Egypt is far better with Verizon than AT&T.

Wow, asking which phone Co to use is a loaded question. People tend to take their cell service very personally, and consider their choice THE BEST.

Which is a MISTAKE, because each carrier has its faults.

At any rate, I am a new CONVERT to AT&T.

Got the new iPhone, and it is awesome.

Only AT&T has its network properly tweaked for the FASTEST speeds for the iPhone.

After all, AT&T had the iphone EXCLUSIVELY for 5 years, so they had the time to get their network just right for it.

Also, AT&T has the BIGGEST international roaming network.

I heard many negatives about AT&T over the past few years, but after much research and cold, hard facts, I went with AT&T for our new iPhones, and am very pleased.

Peace.

First, I have no idea what you mean about oil states. Do you mean the coast? That has nothing to do with the satellites for the providers you've posted. AT&T and T-Mobile will merge soon, so they will be one company. I personally have had At&T and Verizon because their employees are organized and I support labor unions. So I have both: my work mobile is AT&T and my personal mobile is Verizon. If you want to communicate to Egypt, use Verizon. Get a worlwide phone. iPhone's are NOT worldwide phones . I had that specific problem. I had an iPhone and was not able to use it in Egypt because the satellites do not support its technology. So now I have a Verizon's Droid. It works wherever I go. I've used it in Egypt, Paris, Mexico... everywhere.

On that same token, do not even consider Sprint. My experience was the worst!

By the way... there are Iphones that work in Egypt... I got an Iphone for my fiance and sended it to him in Egypt... and it works just fine! It just has to be an AT&T Iphone.. with a certain software... i believe!

I've been with AT&T for the last "n" number of years and travel the world and the country with that and have never had any problems.

AT&T rules!!!

Nope, AT&T failed miserably to provide me with the international service. I went with my iPhone and all I used it for is to take pictures and video.

T-Mobile has really really bad customer service. I switched to Verizon. At&T are owned by the same company now.

I live in GA, and I find Verizon the best. I get service everywhere (and I go to the boonies alot when i drive) and no issues. compared to t-mobile, where i was in the middle of a city, at my neighbourhood pool, and I never got service.

really depends on where you are, ask around. some companys may have more towers in once place than the other. but if i had to adivse anyone..Verizon all the way

This is so true, at least in GA. My wife and I camp and hunt nearly every weekend at our hunting club out in Twiggs county. No provider works except Verizon. Every member of the club (22 folks), switched to Verizon.
