Today has been a long, tiresome, anxious, stress filled and eventually a wonderful and teary day.

After a light grilling at the interview over my arrests, the CO was happy that I am a good person and APPROVED my visa!

I got home to be greeted by an uncle and aunt who took me out to dinner for a nice celebratory evening ^_^

My uncle also presented me with my grandmothers wedding ring. She had told him before she passed away that I was to have it when the time was right and I had a real man and a real future :cry:

My flight home to Justin is booked for the 8th of November.

I can't wait to see him again :wub:

I haven't slept in almost 36 hours, so I am going to sleep soon. Tomorrow I will put up a post on my blog for other VJers to see what to expect at the LONDON Embassy~

Congratulations, fellow Blighty. I love the wedding ring story, I know it has some sadness to it, but you will have so many great memories around that ring. Also, November 8th is a great day to fly!!! I am 40 that day! And, I am out in the states with my Fiance to celebrate it! Yay! Yay for you! Yay!

September 29, 2011 Notice Petition forwarded to embassy in Lima, from National Visa Center, Portsmouth, NH,

7/15/11 Sent K1 Petition to Lockbox

8/10/11 STILL NO NOA1!

8/12/11 Called USCIS to get receipt number-NOA1 will be resent

8/16/11 Received NOA1 with date of 7/20/11

1/3/12 NOA2!!!

1/12/12 Got email notice we are through the NVC.
