Myriad, I sent them an email. Now just waiting for a reply...

Darnell, BUt why would she need it.. I dont have proof she has forged anything, but she may have signed my name to something but dont know the reason for it..

Its just a bad situation all together,

this is the email:

I need a new passport type picture of you, image resolution must be 600 x 600 pixels scanned at a resolution at least 300 dots per inch, on a light-colored background, face the camera, in 24-bit color depth. The same like we took last time at wallgreens but bigger. I need you to take this pic, scan it and send it to this email, coz my another email got hacked, I cant use it anymore. It`s very important, I need it as fast as you can do it, tomorrow or after tomorrow.

Im just trying to cover my ####!! No telling whats she done already, but getting used for this is not acceptable...

She's already in the US and already has a conditional green card. A DV lottery entry would be pointless.

I'm pretty certain she's trying to forge something, but I'm at a loss as to what it could be.

I would think she's going to try and either 1. Forge evidence of relationship to make sure she's fine come ROC or 2. forge ID for someone to pretend to be him.

Really crazy people come up with all sorts of random and unnecessary things. do NOT send her the passport photo and i also agree with sign up to something like "lifelock". Also send USCIS a letter telling them that you are no longer together, that she left in X and all the rest. I would explain that she has recently asked for a passport photo of you and you are concerned she is going to do something with it, hence the letter.

Thank you all for the input... I sent an email to the link Myriad posted.. Should I also mail a letter to USCIS to.. And is there only one address for them to send it... Also, RoC doesnt come up until 2013 for her.. I am having marriage annulled this week.. Should I send in that to.. Because when I called USCIS they basically told me nothing.. I didnt have to send in anything, and its her word against mine..

Hope she's not using someone to pretend to be me...

Whatever the reason for requesting the pics of you, it can't be beneficial to you, considering she took off shortly after her arrival.

Locate the number for the nearest ICE field office and call them, maybe someone will take a report and document what you have in her "A" file.

She doesn't need to wait until it's her "time" to ROC. She can try ROCing based on abuse, or based on divorce. I hope she's not using someone to pretend to be you either, but i'm certain she's up to something...

OH I just had another thought... maybe she's faking a petition for you to import her family members (as an LPR she can't, but YOU can)? That would explain the photos... ooohh yeah.. that's what I think she's doing. Explains her taking your birth certificate.

Its sad to think she can file just based of abuse... She was never hit, we had a few arguments thats all.. And right when she left, she said she was beautiful and she can get anything she wants... I thought and hoped it was a lash out at me, maybe it was.. Who knows... But Im trying to protect myself from anything she is trying to do.... As for family members, She is an only child, so only her mom still lives in POLAND!!! As for someone trying to be me.. Is there another place I can check to see besides the identity fraud place?? I found a local number and will call.. And annulment this week... (I dont think she can file for divorce, it would make her look bad) I will keep this updated with what I can find out...

Thank you again everyone... Im really not trying to be bitter or lash back, but I feel I have to... Its such a shame that most people who obtain Visa's through Legitimate marriage get revoked because of suspicions, and the ones that marry for fraudulent reasons have it made..

No, a US citizen can't petition for a step-mother. However, a US citizen CAN petition for step-children. Your theory about her filing a fraudulent petition on behalf of her US citizen husband would definitely explain her wanting those documents. She may have kids in Poland that she never told her husband about.

I really dont think she has kids.. She always came to the US on J1. And I believed every word.. But maybe Im a fool?? Im just ready for the nightmare to end.. I will make my case, and hope for the best... Everybody has been a great help....

And for the whole reason she has Birth Certificate, is because she said she needed it so when she goes back to poland to visit, she has proof of me being me... Yes, should have read through all the forums before, but never heard of such thing.. So now Im at a double loss...

Suggest you 'go postal' with yer notifications.

EMAIL to the national ICE inbox is almost pointless.

I agree, you do need to write actual letters on this one. Also you need to find out if you have the marriage annulleed, might that invalidate her green card? I m sorry to say it but in my opinion yoou might have had someone semi use you for entry into the states....that says nothing about you, it wouldn't be the first time I m sure, it says everything about her. Press ahead with your reporting of her requests and also report it to USCIS. Do NOT send the photo and remember, you need to do all you can and then draw a line under it and move on. Thank you all again.. I've written the letter, getting ready to mail off.. I hope they will at least check the info for me... Im not bitter, just feel used... And as much as I hate to see people suffer, Something has to be done... I will keep everyone informed.. Dont know if they will let me know.. But I will try..
