I try to get some physical activity at least 6 days a week. I don't like working out for the sake of working out and I hate gyms, but I do enjoy walking in the park by my house because it helps me clear my mind and de-stress. So I walk about 4 miles each day, however I had to stop recently because the mosquitoes are getting out of control in my neighborhood, plus I dont get out of work before dark.

I am trying to find something I'd have fun doing while getting some cardio. I am going to try Zumba tonight because I have heard good things about it. What workout routines or physical activities do you guys enjoy doing? I need some ideas.

My former personal trainer recommended Warrior XFit for home training, as I wasn't a gym girl then either. I really like it; the only equipment you need is a resistance cord.

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

i mostly lift weights & roll (grappling practice @ a local judo/jiu jitsu school) for cardio. my wife talked me into going to some zumba classes w/ her & her friends. OMG! the first couple days, i was sure i was gonna die. it doesn't look like its that hard. but, you're gonna work...i suggest you stand at the back of the room for the first few workouts.

I walk but it doesn't help because I still eat like a pig. I am going to have to up my game a little. Maybe the gym *shudder*.

I don't eat like a pig, but I definitely do have some very bad eating habits, and I drink like a fish.

Is it like P90X? A home DVD workout thingy? I tried the P90x about a year ago because my husband was doing it. I didnt really interest me and I ended up quitting after I developed tennis elbow from lifting weights that were too heavy for me. Yes yes, I know.. I am a weak sauce :(

My husband does aikido (which involves grappling apparently) for his cardio and he seems to like it. I am not sure if I'd enjoy throwing people on the floor.

Was Zumba fun like they say it is?

yah its fun. if you like to dance you'll really like it. my mistake was 'trying to impress' my wife & her friends. 10 minutes in...i'm soaking wet, gasping for air, not a happy camper & REALLY sore the next day. the next time i remembered 'this is a 45 minute class'

9) Sex

10) 4 way tie-----Hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling

Seriously though:

Off road mountain biking. Most dance classes are physically demanding I thought I was in good shape, until I went to one with my ex-wife and used muscles I didn't know existed. Wrestling, who along with swimmers may be in the best overall physical shape. There's some videos you can find and do some of the workouts they do. I have some of these videos below as my son wrestles and I train along with him.

My wife loves Zumba, but she's always loved dancing. She also takes a Pilates class. We belong to the local Y and I use the elypitcal and weight train. I love walking, but without incorporating it into my daily schedule, I find it hard to do just for the sake of it. We also have Wii Fitness - haven't used it in awhile, but the basic yoga and strength training exercises are pretty good.
