Does it take 3 weeks to leave NVC and be received by the embassy? :blink:

*07-13-2011 --- NOA1 , Vermont!

*07-20-2011 --- Touched.

*10-14-2011 --- NOA2!!! Yeeeeeeee!!!!

*10-19-2011 --- Hardcopy of NOA2 :)!!

*10-24-2011 --- NVC Received (no case number assigned yet)

*10-26-2011 --- NVC case number assigned :)

*10-28-2011 --- NVC sent to the embassy :)

*10-31-2011 --- Embassy receives package!!! :)

*12-05-2011 --- Medical! _____DONE AND PASSED!!! :)

*12-19-2011 --- Interview!!! :)!! APPROVED!!! WOOOHOOO!!!

*12-29-2011 --- Visa in hand! :D

*12-30-2011 --- POE Newark!! Finally with mi amor!

*02-24-2012 --- We got married! :) [/color][/font][/font]

most case leave the nvc in a couple of days after being receive.

then you have the cases that they tell you that they are doing additional process and they tell you there's no time on it which can take from a week to a few months, but once it leaves the nvc it's sent by dhl and most embassy receive it in about 2 business days

depends on which embassy it is.

once it leaves NVC, there are other time ticks to track.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Well, they said to call again on friday... hoping they send it tomorrow and then to track it... jeje YES im obsessed :yes:

I wouldn't worry about the NVC part... It will be over before you know it. Focus more on the Packet 3 requirements, medical and interview! All the best! :thumbs:

December 2009 -- Visit to Malaysia.

February 2010 -- Applied for B2 visa, approved.

March 2010 -- Visited US.

April 2010 -- Returned from US.

May 2010 -- Sent in K1 Visa application.

July 2010 -- Received NOA2 in 71 days from NOA1.

July 2010 -- Packet 3 received.

August 2010 -- Cancellation of K1 Visa application.

Its hopping from one lot of waiting to another! The embassy have ours, but now its an unknown wait....about two weeks, before they even register it on the systems and generate packet 3 :/ I'm kind of getting used to this waiting now!! :)

I have an update, today the package has been received by the embassy :) it took 17 days from NOA2 to get to the embassy :star:
