Hi everyone,

I filed I-129F and got NOA1 on May 18, 2011 from VSC and its been more than 5 months and we still haven't heard anything. I check on this site and noticed that some members who filed even 2 months after we did already got NOA2, Any help on when we can expect NOA2 ?

Thanks,

M&MPa

Just be patient. I was in the same boat as you a month or so ago. It can be very very frustrating seeing others who submitted after you getting their NOA2. It will come before you know it. Everyone's is different

My fiance and I have the same NOA1 date as you, and we are still waiting for our NOA2. When my fiance called USCIS last week, he was told that we can't put in a service request, that we are still in normal processing time because they're currently processing March 15 petitions. ??? So we're still waiting. You are not alone! :)

I had an inquiry made the other day through my congressional office, to see if and when my 129f might be looked at since you cant really get any type of update until you actually get something in the mail. They said the uscis Vermont is currently on March applications, so on occasion when you see ones processed after your date, they claim its from diverting people on to them when they are caught up on other immigration forms, they also said K1 is not a priority when they handle all these forms.

I still don't understand how other applications move ahead, it seems as if they just grab them from a pile hehehe. Anyway, hang in there as the other post said after 6 months you can get an update, but hope and pray for a little luck that it happens sooner, as for our noa1 it was received June 23 so by December 23 it will be 6 months, 2 more months ( but hoping for much less) anyway I am going to PI for Christmas cause that's where we belong (as in together).

we didn't want to spend our money on yet another trip there, but while you can make more money, you cant make more time so we agreed another trip where we can be together Christmas regardless of the NOA2 will go along way to helping us cope with this process. If you have the resources it surely helps with this painfully long process, I know its not practical in so many cases but wish everybody could do it.

Good Luck & Godspeed

Just today I called the US number to find out where things where after having all our stuff at the consulate for a month.

They told me you have an appointment for the 17th of NOv. Well it would be nice if they told us. That way we would show up. Only cost $16 to get that.

Plus we called to pay the fees and that was a nightmare. Once they requested information they did not need. Then they said they needed the card member of the credit card to be on the phone. Then when his sister was there they said the machine for processing credit cards was down.. Come back tomorrow. All that mess ran 65 pounds. It has been something else and you cannot contact them directly so sitting and waiting is not a good idea and it will cost you no matter how you go.
