On the same day (later in the evening), even USCIS "my case status" was updated with a beautiful "card production" status.Unbelievable day for us yesterday.Our interview was scheduled at 12.30pm in Mount Laurel NJ.We knew the place already, that was the same office my wife had taken her citizenship interview, back in June.After the usual "airport type" checking at the entrance, we waited with quite a reduced group of people, maybe a dozen, and were called first.The officer was very friendly and relaxed from the beginning.He took us to his office and made us take the oath, before inviting us to seat.We were asked for passport (for me) and naturalization cert (for my wife).I-94 was taken almost straight away, for me that was a good sign.Then marriage cert., pictures,nothing about taxes, employment or utility bills, which i had prepared anyways.The usual questions about dates. adress etc...and that was it, i had a I-551 stamp in my passport, and i'm now a permanent resident.Hope to get the card in the mail soon, i will post probably for the last time when that happens.I wish you all the same relief, for us it has been 5 years in the making, so we are very happy and making projects again.First ones being, going to social security and motor vehicle..Papers again, it never ends !!
