I'm filing I-130, I-485, I-131 and I-765 at the same time.

That's weird. I put one, not sure why the cover letter says two. I have 7 photos total (1 for I-130, 2 for I-485, 2 for I-765, 2 for I-131). Thanks for noticing that! :)

Good luck with everything!

You don't need 2 cover letters you need one.

They basically approve the I-130 then they approve the I-485 afterwards.

So if you make it one you make it easy for them.

Also the photos - use a FELT pen that doesn't mark up the photos. Put them in a 'snack sized' ziploc and staple it to the margins of the pages.

Use some spring clips to clip the related docs together then use a fat spring clip to clip the whole package.

That's what I did and we nailed it cold. The guy was so impressed with how we prepared everything.

One other suggestion I have is to pay an attorney to review what you are filling out to ensure it's filled out properly.

You do not need them to file for you - in fact you don't want their name anywhere on the paper. But our attorney caught a couple of good items, one that might have triggered an RFE.

It cost $350 for the attorney to review. Money well spent in my opinion, she was very knowledgable.

The attached package is an Immediate Relative (Spouse) Family Based Adjustment of Status Application with a concurrent I-130 filing.

Package Contents

A. Payment – Check #1: $420.00 for I-130 filing; Check #2: $1070.00 for I-485 + biometrics processing

C. Concurrent Filing of I-130 and I-485

Each of the below items are attached in following numerical order

2. G-325A, Beneficiary / Alien Relative - attached 2 photos of Beneficiary

3. G-325A, Petitioner - attached 2 photos of Petitioner

4. I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status - attached 2 photos of Beneficiary, 2 copies of G-325 for both Petitioner and Beneficiary

5. I-131, Application for Travel Document - attached 2 photos of Beneficiary

6. I-765, Application for Employment Authorization - attached 2 photos of Beneficiary

7. Copy of Petitioner's US Passport - all pages + exterior of passport

8. Photocopy of Certified Copy of Marriage Certificate between Petitioner + Beneficiary
