Oh I didn't know that about the vaccinations that's good, still get them NHS though as that bill can rack up fast!

Hi Holly,

I was going to email you but I don't see that option on your page. In about 2 weeks you will be all set. Hooray! So my husband haven't got an interview date yet which I am predicting to be sometime in December. Sigh. We have a question regarding medical. From my understanding you guys would just need two vaccinations. Did you have to get any additional vaccines or how many did you have to get? You can inbox me if you don't want to write it here.

You are very close to be done :)

Hello,

Yes the long list of vaccinations are very confusing, I actually started a topic on Vaccinations for the UK,

here it is,

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/329659-vaccinations-from-uk/page__p__4975861__fromsearch__1#entry4975861 (I hope that works)

Anyway, I only needed the MMR, Tetanus Diphtheria Polio, and the Flu jab. But the best thing to do is for your husband to get in touch with his GP discuss what is necessary as it is all determined my age categories/time of year etc and get booked in for them (however, he will probably have to get the flu jab at a chemist such as Boots). Worse case scenario he gets them at Knightsbridge doctors but it's probably an extra eighty quid or something. Just make sure he brings the Police Certificate. Good Luck!! We are both nearly there!!!

Hi All,

I finally found out about my husband's interview date. It is on Dec 6th, 2011. They have not emailed yet but they said, it might take upto three days to get the email. So I was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to get the package after you are approved for visa?

Holly - you keep me in your loop.

Good luck to all of you guys.

God Bless :)

Thank you guys so much. I am being skeptical about purchasing the ticket before the interview in case something happens. Coz he wants to be home by the 16th and if we book the ticket the last minute, the prices would be sky high. It is actually up there right now. I feel much better though. Your wedding is coming up. I hope it is full of blessings :)

I did not buy the ticket until visa was in hand. Had I bought a day sooner when the Visa was on the way I could have saved 400 pounds. But that would be a gamble. As it is I had her fly Air Berlin where a flight to the US was HALF of a round trip ticket, though she had to fly out of Stansted. Saved a bundle over regular airlines though.

Oh that makes perfect sense Robert. Thanks!
