i called DOS today and chris said still pending but its @ the embassy... I asked if name checks were complete he said he couldnt see anything but pending @ embassy so i asked if this was a good thing and he replied yes this is good its @ embassy... Now just waiting :(

did you asked when the case was sent back to Consulate? mine was sent back to consulate 2 and half months ago

the last big update was in august........ our case has been @ the embassy since the end of aug... Just looked at a note i keep from calling n on aug 26 we were told we were @ the embassy for review

thanks guys :( i wish the same for all of you in AP too... its such a heartbreaking thing to exist as husband and wife and yet not be given the chance to live as a couple... Inshallah our chance and visas will come soon

What the heck?! Why are they waiting sooo long to approve all of you? Are they trying to wait until you can all fly on the same plane or something. Damn.....Seriously this is starting to make me upset.

I hope I dont offend anyone by my words but this is getting ridiculous.

All of us have shown great patience over on this AP. Manny of us is waiting for so long. Most of us are newlywed couples and it’s so hard when you are separated right after wedding and the journey of living away starts with the hope that will be together soon, but when you see delay after delay, like many us were stuck on California to Texas limbo, and now this AP. then sometimes patience seems to be over. I hope they understand and shorten this AP period so those people who are starving to meet their love ones have to bare less pain. I pray for all of us, May Allah guide them and let them understand our situation... Ameen.
