Only part one for the UK too. It might vary according to consulate though...maybe do a search here on 'K1 DS230 PART 2 PAKISTAN' and see what it yields??

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Pakistan&cty=Islamabad

This link is Pakistan specific and seems to say do part two?? Maybe if you post in the Pakistan Forum others will give you updated advice. Good luck with your journey :)

Hi there all,

I have some questions about the DS-230:

1. There were times when I visited the States and went to multiple different places in the USA, what do I put for location for those? Do I put everywhere I went while visiting or do I put 1 location?

2. Also when you fill out the DS-230 it is after the petition has been filed so do you put all visits up to when you send the DS-230 into the Consulate, even if your visits are to visit your fiancee?

Thank you for all your help.

God Bless

Chris

Hey Chris!

1. I also have multiple visits to the US to multiple locations. I used CITY, STATE where I stayed the longest... for example: In 1995 I went to Orlando, Miami and Key West... Since I was in Key West for less than 24 hours (it was a port stop with our cruise) I only added Miami, FL; Orlando, FL

2. Yes. Where you need to list all the INS and OUTS, list everything, regardless of who you went to visit. They are asking for the dates on which you entered the Country and the dates on which you left, not who you went to visit or what you did (I assume they may ask you about it at the interview). Since the DS 230 only has 3 spaces and, like I said, I have multiple visits; on the form itself I wrote [please see attached sheet] and I created a spreadsheet with the same format the form has, and added everything there (from my very first, to the last). To accomplish this, I had to go over ALL my previous passports and my current one, and created a time line with the stamps (the ones from the US with the date I entered the country, and the ones from the Argentine government with the date on which I came back to my Country).

Hope this helps!

Celeste

PS: Since I have SO MANY visits, I'm mentally preparing to be questioned about it, at my interview. I'm pretty sure they will ask... if they don't... oh well, they don't

Another question that I had was:

Where they ask you to list all educational institutions attended do they want from Junior Kindergarten all the way to the most recent or just high school and post secondary?

I think they must have accepted this because they scheduled me an Interview.

Following the "resume rule" I only added High School and College.

The "resume rule" is: If you made it to high school, it's assumed you went to kindergarten and elementary (whatever educational system you got before high school): however you list the high school you attended and the degree, because it may differ, even within the same country.

So High School and anything that came after, if any, of course.

That's what I did but, I'm pretty sure, that if you add the latest (College, University, etc), you should be fine.
