In my experience, if you can spare the time, make an Infopass appointment. You can then speak directly to an officer about your questions/concerns.

Way back when we first filed my wife's AOS paperwork, we made an Infopass appointment. The officer looked over all of our paperwork, made suggestions and even told me to take paperwork out of the package that we didn't need.

Just my 2 cents . . .

Agree 100% with that; if your local USCIS office is nearby, schedule an infopass and speak to an officer in person. If that is not feasible, then on the phone, you need to keep on insisting that you need additional information and hence, that you need to speak to a 2nd-tier officer. They may be reluctant to transfer your call but eventually you will succeed.

Best of luck!

Oh man, where was this information when I was chasing for my NOA1 status :-)

From my personal experience reading the CS rep or a second officer was the most difficult thing to do. What is your situation right now? Is it still for IR1/CR1 or your citizenship?

its for citizenship. But the phone call really worked, as i had my FP couple of days back and they didnt update my status, so I had to let them know that they should update the system.

The online system is not very reliable. Mine still says that I am at the interviewing/testing stage although my oath was back in February :)
