I left Houston on 10/22 night and reached Chennai today early hours. I am so glad to be with my wife after 4 months. It is already Monday night here and tomorrow is Navya's interview. We are very excited and a bit nervous and I hope the Consulate allows me in. Thanks to all at VJ that helped us in our journey thus far. The Lord willing, we will share the good news tomorrow. Please pray for her visa.

07-03-14 - ROC interview - approval pending delayed background checks

07-25-14 - APPROVED! 10 year GC is finally in production!

08-01-14 - 10 year GC in hand. The journey has finally ended. :)

2014 to 2020 - Living paperwork-free and focused on me!

11-09-20 - N-400 filed online - welcome back VJ fam!

6-22-21 - Interview in Nashville, approved! And then...

6-22-21 - Pledge of Allegiance taken. Holy shirtballs I'm a US Citizen.

Mines tomorrow too! Good luck my friend!

Fell in love on a missions trip in 2005, got married in 07, got pregnant and started IR1 visa process in 08, had baby number 2 in 10, and its now 2011, and we are just now finally getting to the end of this long road. (The mail from the embassy never arrives to my home, causing us trouble. Fingers crossed and prayers going up! Both kids born and raised in Mexico and American citizens by CRBA:

His Appointement is October 25th!

06/16/2011 - Notice of Action 2 (NOA2)

NOA2 to NVC (32 days to get Case number)
NVC: (28 days)
07/18/2011 - NVC Received and got NVC case#.
07/18/2011 - Send my Naturalization Certificate via mail and email for upgrading my case from F2A to CR1.
07/19/2011 - Gave both emails to NVC and received IIN#
07/21/2011 - Got confirmation email about changing my petition from F2A to CR1. Up-gradation took 4 business days.
07/29/2011 - AOS Fee Bill Received & Paid Online.
07/29/2011 - DS-3032 Email sent to NVC from beneficiary.
08/01/2011 - AOS package invoice shows "PAID" and Package mailed to NVC.
08/02/2011 - DS-3032 received by NVC.

Good luck to you and your wife Navyk for the interview today. It certainly is a waiting game.

My husband and I are waiting for word from NVC letting us know when our interview in Abu Dhabi will take place. My documents were all submitted in Aug 2011, so it seems to be taking rather long to get the interview date. My husbands documents were submitted later.. perhaps NVC is waiting to give us a joint interview date.

Everyone here at VJ seems to be so familiar with the steps. Great to find people in the same boat.
