Hello Again .....

Jenny and I want to bring family from the Philippines here for a visit. What forum do we need to be in? And what Guide?

We are doing great by the way.......still happily married!

5-24-2010 - Sent I-751 to Vermont Service Center via USPS (receipt/signature required)

5-25-2010 - Delivered to Vermont Service Center & Signed For

6-1-2010 - I-751 Receipt Notice Received in Mail (dated 5/26/10)

*time Passed

7-30-2010 - Biometrics date: August 13, 2010

8-13-2010 - Biometrics Finished

*time passed

8-30-2010 - email received 'card production ordered'

8-31-2010 - touch (updated on uscis as approved)

9-4-2010 - Received 10yr Green Card ** Now we relax **

There is nothing for you to do. No sponsorship, etc. Her relatives apply for a tourist visa at the embassy. See the embassy website for the steps involved.

They need to show strong ties to home in order to secure a visa. Young, single relatives will have a tough time.

I wrote an invite letter to my single sister in law but has a home, family and good job in china.

We are doing great by the way.......still happily married!

If the family is well off then they will make it to get a tourist visa. When I say well off like gotta car, big house, earning business, quite a valuable amount of property and a high paying job.

US is strict to Filipinos so have to prove a strong ties between the 2 countries.
