we are engaged in 1st November 2010. all forms, documents and evidence of our relationship was completed. i was schedule for interview on 17th October 2011. they denied our relationship is a sham. what is the best way we should do now? i live in cambodia and my fiance live in USA. our case will be return to USCIS in minimum 3 months. during this time, pursue our case to marriage visa? CR1 or IR1? can we do that? or just wait to respond letter from USCIS about our K1case and fighting for second interview? is there any chances to win second interview and how long will it take for this?

please recommend us if we can pursue filing our marriage visa ? and when can we file this marriage visa since our k1 interview was on 17th October 2011?? is that no problem to pursue for marriage visa?

I and my fiance are waiting to get your respond as soon as possible

Regards,

Mei

If they truely believe your marriage is a sham getting married doesn't help. You have to have proof that their claims are false. A marriage certificate is not going to do this.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

why did they say it was a sham?

how did you meet?

did you meet before submitting K1?

As stated above, the issues that caused the CO to have doubts about your relationship will still be there. You will have to present a better case along with a spouse visa petition. Being married doesn't "fix" everything. Examine the weaknesses in your K1 evidence and work to make them stronger.
